Interment
Newton Cemetery offers a wide variety of burial options. The most familiar is the garden lot or family lot, which can be purchased for one or two people or an entire family. Our garden lots range in size from three graves to twelve and, if needed, a larger lot can be formed by combining adjoining lots, when they’re available. Depending on the section of the Cemetery, either flush-marker or monument-type lots may be selected. Smaller locations are available as well, such as double graves, and single graves. You may also choose the options of above-ground crypt entombment and/or niche inurnment in our Walnut Court garden.
As owner of your lot, you maintain direct control over its use during your lifetime. Proper use of cemetery documents, such as a Deed of Trust and/or a Designation of Right of Interments, will ensure that your wishes for the use of your lot remain in force after your passing.
