Kasey Kaufman’s Memory Quilt Project on View at Copley Society of Art

We’re pleased to share that Newton Cemetery & Arboretum’s 2025–2026 artist in residence, Kasey Kaufman, presents The Memory Quilt Project: What Remains at the Copley Society of Art’s Little Gallery through November 21, 2026.

During her residency, Kaufman explored our grounds and listened to visitors’ stories. These encounters inspired an art quilt honoring love, loss, and the memories that connect us. All are welcome to visit the exhibit while it is on display.

Visit the Copley Society of Art’s exhibition page for more details.

Please find Kasey Kaufman’s talk where she speaks on her Artist Residency at the Newton Cemetery and Arboretum and the stories that inspired her work here.
